Newly elected Honduran president chico chico lobo, sworn in last tuesday, has caused almost immediate concern amongst locals after pushing through a bill criminalizing irony and sarcasm.
Conservative lobo, 52, who recently filled the vacum created by a military coup, has outlawed the rhetorical stances on the grounds that "they're annoying."
Political experts in the area are shocked as it was widely known lobo was captain of the sarcastic society at pinklefanny university, and a firm supporter of saying things like "nice weather isnt it" when it was actually cold outside.
Liberal activists are not happy about the bill (there's a surprise !) which they say was rushed through non democratically, one protester snorting "he should try banning hypocrisy" unfortunately the blatant sarcasm in this comment didnt go unnoticed and the man was shot dead on the spot by a government mule
