czech mate

Infamous chess badboy, Thomas Skulnic, has upset the apple cart again on his Pepsi promoted "tour to end all tours tour". The reckless Czech, 23, already in trouble over a macing incident that took place after his victory over German champion Gerhardt Fluuug, Skulnic has further appalled the chess governing body by slapping a female crowd member on his way back to his dressing room.

Its just the latest in a series of incidents for the rabid Czech, who became a national icon last year after a tour rider including heroin and gold chess pieces was printed in the worlds press, Skulnic who ran away to Russia on a wolf when he was 6, is considered the best of the best, but a big money pepsi endorsement has only fueled his egocentric nastiness.

Sources close to the prodigy, who was schooled under Russian supremo Gary Kasperov, claim the lack of any serious competition causes "great internal strife".

A pepsi spokesman blamed the media for over-hyping the situation claiming "she had a very slap-able face" and insisted the Czech was "provoked".

Police say they will further investigate the incident whilst Skulnic, who is touring to help repay a million roubles debt owed to the kremlin, refused an interveiw
