A Nobel Cause

Barack Obama received his Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo today for
"extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between peoples".

This prestigious accoloade was actually awarded to America's Commander in Chief back in
October, we suspect probably at about the same time as he was making the decision to throw an Extra 30,000 troops at the Afghanistan problem.

Can you spot the Paradox?! The Nobel Committee seem to have adopted a "Dont mention the War" attitude to this years awards also choosing to Posthumously decorate Slobodan Milošević for "Creative crimes against humanity"

A Nobel Committee insider, Mr P.Nesshead, told mind material " Never has there been such controversey over the recipient of our award, its almost as bad as the furore over Genesis putting Phil Collins to he front over Peter Gabriel in 1975"

Mr Obama was unavailable for comment as he is booked in for Laser Tattoo removal of the "All Coppers areBastards" tattoo on his knuckles.

Expect next years awards to bestow honours on the likes of The leader of the Democratic Republic of Congo militia or some other fuck wit like that.
